Our Steak and Shiraz class is designed to provide confidence when cooking, grilling or smoking the perfect steak and is appropriate to all cooking levels. It can also be applied to both BBQ and indoor cooking. 

The class is focused on getting the most out of your BBQ and gaining all the skills to achieve the penultimate dish from your BBQ - The Perfect Steak. We will look at the differences between seasoning and grill on gas to the flavour difference that can achieved when spice rubbing and smoked first then grilling. We will also make together a “to die for” Red Wine Jus to serve with it!

In being the perfect host we want you to appreciate the importance of serving the right wine and our recommendation of great varietals and regions that will be Devine when we sample

Live Streaming Class and Ingredient Pack: You also have the option to purchase some handy inclusions for your session including 1x  bottle of Audrey Wilkinson Series Shiraz, 1 x Jar Fuego Beef Spice Rub and a Packet of essential Murray River Pink Salt. How does it work?

Pick the class of your preference➯ select the number of people who will be using
the same device together ➯ select the date that 
suits you best. Go!

After your booking, you will receive an email
confirmation with your login details, ingredient list, and everything you need for your class. On
the day of the class, you will be cooking a range of dishes simultaneously in a practical, simple and fun way.


Duration: 1 hour

  • Tea towel
  • Bbq plate and grill (plus side burner if you have)
  • Smoker (Optional)

  • Gas and / or Charcoal and Wood chunks
  • Tongs
  • Seasoning tray
  • Resting tray
  • 2 x Sauce pans
  • 1 x Sauce pot
  • Wooden spoon

Food Hygiene and Safety:

At all times the safe practice of food handing, hygiene principles and hazard minimisation are paramount to ensuring you produce amazing culinary creations that are safe for all of your friends and family can enjoy! 

We recommend:

Washing your hands well prior to any food handling

Applying sanitiser to your hands and preparation surfaces before starting

Wearing food safe handing gloves 

Cleaning well as you go with sanitiser and disposable kitchen paper

Replacing Fresh / clean chopping boards when you change ingredients

 Generally applying safe and non crowded areas to produce food

Have a sharp knife and if needed sharpen your knife before you start 

Always have a tea towel at hand to avoid burns when picking things up

Have a Fire Extinguisher and Fire Blanket ready so that you can act fast if there is reason to.
