Everybody loves the good old Snag on the BBQ but do we really know how they are made, what is inside them and what you need to produce great sausages that the whole family will enjoy.
We have teamed up with our resident Butcher to put together a great range of Butcher classes to showcase where our meats come from and how to best use and enhancer them for the greatest results.
This informative and hands on lesson will have you breaking down a chicken Maryland to prepare a chicken lollipop from the drumstick to smoke and the thigh for your first sausage to grill. We will also produce 2 more sausages using Pork with a range of exciting flavours. We will grind together, process and prepare the sausages with the skins through the machine. We will also prepare and serve a range of salads and sides, sauces and surprises to ensure you have a full day and an even fuller stomach.
To get the most out of this class you will be a keen meat enthusiast and love to prepare and combine flavours, have a love for getting your hands dirty and of course enjoy all things cooking on the BBQ. You will also be able to better understand what flavour profiles really work against others plus be exposed to howe to smoke foods Low and Slow with our Chicken Lollipop.
On arrival to your cooking class, you will be provided with a cold beer and an apron before being welcomed by your Chefs for the day. They will outline expected competencies from the session, discuss the format of the day and introduce the menu. In the sausage making class you will all collectively product, cook and serve every morsel of the menu and share in your creations on completion together. The chef will cover equipment needed plus all the tips, tricks and methods to be able to do ti yourself sat home.
